* Indicates that fonts must be embedded
or saved as outlines in the final format of the file being
submitted.
** Must be print resolution, this
applies to all files, but in particular with .jpg/.jpegs as
most are submitted at less than the desired resolution. Also,
we prefer that compression / quality be set to none (12) or
maximum.
*** For transparent logos, be sure that
the file is saved in a format that supports transparency, such
as TIFF, EPS, WMF, Ilustrator and Photoshop Native files. All
fonts should be embedded or saved as outlines depending on the
format.

All files should be saved in the CMYK
(Cyan - Magenta - Yellow - Black) color mode to be press-ready
files. If files are not submitted in this format, be aware
that colors may change from the original RGB (Red - Green -
Blue) Mode that computer monitors typically display. The
advantage of converting or creating your ad and photographs in
the CMYK color mode is that you will have an idea of how the
colors will change in the four color process printing process.
We cannot 100% the accurate reproduction of any specific
color, but by taking this step it will ensure a higher degree
of accuracy in the final product.

All files should be save as 300 dpi/ppi
(dots per inch/points per inch) or higher for color or
grayscale images and 600 dpi/ppi or higher for black and
white. If a file is to be enlarged in the final ad, the
resolution should be increased by the percentage of the
enlargement.
Example: A 300dpi image file
measuring 2" x 3" should be sent at 600dpi to get an
accurate interpolation of 300dpi at 4" x 6" with no loss in
quality.
Images sent at lower resolutions could
result in blurred images in the final printing or have pixels
showing at press resolution.
